Kristen Stewart flew out of LAX last Friday and she spent the weekend in Paris, partying with Riley Keough and other friends (see one of Riley’s Instagrams here). Alicia Cargile did not come to Paris with Kristen. Which concerns me. Kristen and Alicia actually haven’t stepped out since Kristen’s mom maybe-sort-of outed her daughter in a print interview. Jules Stewart later claimed she never said what was reported, but I kind of wonder if what happened in the wake of that interview was Kristen’s attempt at damage control. I also wonder if Kristen and Alicia are on the rocks, or if Kristen is just wary of being seen with Alicia at this moment. What’s the big deal? I have no idea.

Anyway, these photos are the reason why Kristen came to Paris – she’s still got a Chanel contract and for this year’s Chanel Winter 2015/2016 show, Karl Lagerfeld decided to organize the show like a casino. Lagerfeld has done these weird theme shows before, to mixed results. His Chanel-Walmart show is still one of the most amazingly terrible things I’ve ever seen – remember that? For this show, Lagerfeld got some of his muses – K-Stew, Julianne Moore, Lily Collins and more – to “act” in the Chanel Casino set in the Grand Palais.

What I love? Even though Kristen was given an extremely wearable black velvet pantsuit and even though she’s a very youthful 25, she’s still giving me major Hillary Clinton vibes. Right? Not only could I see Hillary in this pantsuit, I’m pretty sure Hillary already has like a dozen versions of this pantsuit.

I’m also including some pics of Kristen – in her street clothes – arriving at the Grand Palais. Lagerfeld didn’t trust any of his muses to wear the Chanel clothes TO the event, he dressed them AT the event. He was right not to trust his muses because Kristen Stewart couldn’t even be bothered to wash her hair. Or run a comb through it.
