The annual CFDAs were held last night – that stands for Council of Fashion Designers of America. Anna Wintour is actually a big part of making the CFDAs another major fashion event, like the Met Gala. All the designers come out and they bring some of their best and brightest fashion girls. To mixed results. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West decided to attend this year, which makes sense because Kanye has encouraged Kim to branch out more with her label-consciousness. For this event, Kim showed off her small baby bump in a custom-made Proenza Schouler. I don’t really like this, but it could have been a lot worse.

Incidentally, Kim chatted with E! on the red carpet about her pregnancy and she told the story of how she told Kanye she was knocked up: “I took a pregnancy test and then took a shower. I looked by the sink and I said, ‘Babe I’m pregnant!’”

Julianna Margulies showed off her panties in this Michael Kors gown. I feel like she’s deflecting from all the stories about how she was a major bitch to Archie Panjabi.

Diane Kruger in Prabal Gurung. Great look for her. Joshua Jackson was there too, but they didn’t walk the red carpet together.

Amanda Seyfried in Rodarte. Cute. I actually expected more women to wear frothy little cocktail dresses like this.

I like the idea of January Jones’ J. Mendel ensemble more than I like the execution. Like, if this had been a clean, tailored pair of cigarette pants and a well-cut bustier, it might have worked. But this just looks really sloppy and cheap.

Katie Holmes in satin Ralph Lauren. It’s sort of a moss-green color, which is pretty on her, but I’m not really feeling this.

I know Bedhead sort of likes Chrissy Teigen but she plucks my last nerve. This dress is by Solace London and I’m not a fan. It’s so poorly designed that it ripped at the event too.
